VIDEO: Leamington Home Goes Up In Flames

By the time firefighters from Leamington Fire Services arrived on the scene, the home on Robson Rd. was fully involved.

When it was over, two homes, one of them vacant, two outbuildings, three cars and a motorcycle were a "total loss" according to fire officials. Total damage is $375,000.

The fire, in the 400-block of Robson Rd. near the roundabout at Monarch Ln., started before 2pm Saturday. The home is very close to Point Pelee National Park.

Kingsville firefighters were on standby, and it took firefighters nearly two hours to bring it under control.

The cause is undetermined.

There are no reports of injuries, but two people and their dog will have to stay with family.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
