ATV Crash Sends Two Teens To Hospital

Chatham-Kent police are investigating an ATV crash that took place just west of Pain Court.

Police say a 16-year-old youth was operating the vehicle on Big Pointe Rd. yesterday afternoon when he lost control and crashed it into a ditch.

The 16-year-old and his 13-year-old passenger were both thrown from the ATV as a result of the crash.

The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His passenger wasn't seriously hurt, but was still taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
