Classic Cars To Invade Blenheim

Classic cars took over downtown Blenheim on Saturday for the 6th annual Classic Car Show.

150 classic cars were on display from 9am until 3:30pm at the free event.

"Any proceeds that we do make from the raffles and from the various items that we will be selling at the event, all those proceeds will be going to the Blenheim Golden Eagles Gymnastics Club's Building Fund," says organizer John Ceccacci. "We try to pick a youth oriented group in the Blenheim area every year that would benefit from the proceeds."

Cars on display were 1988 or older unmodified models. The car show included live music, draws, and awards. The event kicked off Friday night with a car cruise from Blenheim out to Erieau.
