Two people are dead after a crash involving a motorcycle in Lakeshore.
Essex OPP say a Ford minivan and a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided at the intersection of Essex County Rd. 46 and Rochester Townline Rd. around 7:15pm on Saturday.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were thrown from the bike. Both were pronounced dead in hospital. The van driver was not injured.
Police believe the van failed to stop for a stop sign and say charges are pending.
The names of the deceased are not being released until family are notified.
Essex County Rd. 46 between Rochester Townline Rd. and Crabtree Dr. were closed for roughly six hours as police investigated the crash. The roadway was reopened around 3:30am.
