Man Wanted for Breach of Parole

The OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is asking for the public's help locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

Richard Matthews is described as a 56-year-old white male, 5'(", 160lbs with brown eyes and brown hair.

He is serving a four year and 11 month sentence for theft and failing to comply with a probation order. The OPP have issued the warrant because of breach of parole.

The offender is known to frequent the Windsor and Essex County area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
