Hand Injury Prompts Ministry Investigation

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a 56-year-old Dresden man was injured on the job at the Accurcast plant in Wallaceburg.

Police say the man hurt his hand while he was working at the facility on Arnold St. Tuesday morning.

He was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for treatment.

It's the second time in the past year the Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate an incident at the facility.

A 73-year-old man died in January after he fell about 10 ft while working on an overhang at the facility in November 2015.
