Makeshift Molotov Cocktail Thrown At Car

Chatham-Kent police are searching for a cyclist after a Pontiac Sunfire was attacked with a Molotov cocktail.

Officers say the incident happened on King St. in Wallaceburg. Around 11:25pm Monday, an unknown suspect tossed a plastic bottle filled with a "flammable liquid," at the blue Sunfire.

Officers add a neighbour was able to put out the flame with a fire extinguisher. The vehicle didn't suffer any major damage.

Police say the suspect took off on a bicycle down Albert St. He was last seen in a large field on Murray St.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
