Adventure Bay Helps Ronald McDonald House

Families can make a splash this Canada Day at Windsor's Adventure Bay for a cheaper rate while helping a local charity.

Waterpark admission is reduced to $7 for kids and $12 for adults on July 1.

W.E. Care For Kids President Vicky Komar says $2 from every ticket will go to help fund Windsor's new Ronald McDonald House inside Windsor Regional Hospital.

"It's been very, very busy. Some families who don't stay there, who are still having their children within the hospital, will utilize to go take a break, have a coffee," Komar says.

It's also the first Ronald McDonald House in Canada to be located inside a hospital.

Adventure Bay is open from 10am-8pm on Canada Day.
