The weather agency issued the warning after tracking a storm from lower Michigan, which was capable of producing wind gusts of over 90 km/h.
A severe thunderstorm has also ended for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
