Environment Canada has ended its severe thunderstorm watch for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
The weather agency says meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
A heat warning remains in effect.
