UPDATE: Storm Knocks Out Power

The power is back on for Hydro One customers in Thamesville, while hydro crews continue to restore power fully to the Bothwell area.

About 1,300 customers should have their power back on while about 600 customers are still waiting to get their lights and air conditioning back on.

Public works crews in Chatham-Kent say the power was knocked out by some trees that fell on hydro poles after a storm rolled through the area early Friday morning.

A section of Jane St. in Thamesville is also closed right now because there are some hydro lines down there.
