Large Wheat Field Fire Near Paisley

A large wheat field fire had numerous fire departments rushing to a farm near Paisley.

Paisley, Tiverton, and Saugeen Shores fire departments are all attended the scene on Thursday.

The fire was on Concession 10 of Bruce Township, near the Bruce Township/Greenock boundary, and is now extinguished.

Firefighters on-scene suspect a burnt out pickup truck found in the field may have caught fire and started the blaze.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
