UPDATE: Hydro One Restores Power

Hydro One is reporting that power has been restored in Chatham-Kent.

On the power authority's storm center web page, it no longer shows an outage affecting Chatham-Kent. Over 2,000 Hydro One customers were without power because of Friday's thunderstorm.

The power authority says the outage affected customers from the Kent Bridge area. The outage also extended south to the Merlin area.

No word on the specific cause of the outage.
