UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Warnings End

All severe thunderstorm warnings and watches have ended for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.

The weather agency says conditions were previously favorable to produce the storms, which could bring strong winds and heavy rain.

Areas of Chatham-Kent have already seen as much as 50 mm (2 in) of rain, with winds gusting up to 90km/h.  Environment Canada adds some areas could see as much as 100 mm (4 in) by the end of the day.

Callers to BlackburnNews.com say some Chatham streets are flooding because of the heavy rain, particularly in the Lacroix St. and Grand Ave. area. Expect delays and use caution on the roads.
