Classic Cars Take Over Bothwell

The Bothwell Car Show is celebrating 25 years this weekend.

Thousands of people and classic cars will descend on Victoria Park in Bothwell today for the auto show, OptiFest, and of course, the mega 50-50 draw.

"The fireman have an amazing 50-50 at 4pm," says Mary Jo DePelsmaeker, publisher of the Old Autos newspaper. "In 2015 that draw was $22,000 each way."

Over 1,000 classic cars are expected for the show, there is also an auto flea market with over 250 vendors, live music, and other draws. Admission to the car show is $5, while children 12 and under are free.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
