Truck Rollover Sends Two To Hospital

Two people have been taken to hospital, one with life threatening injuries, following a crash in Lakeshore.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on August 6 around 5:45pm a Ford pickup truck travelling eastbound on Essex County Rd. 46 near the Richardson Side Rd. lost control and rolled over.

The passenger was ejected from the vehicle. When emergency crews responded, the passenger was rushed to hospital in Chatham, but was later airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London.

The driver of truck also sustained injuries and was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Investigations are currently being lead by the OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigator.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
