Worldwide Tech Leader At Home In Chatham

For Chatham-native Peter Fantuz, taking his company Intellitix back home was a no-brainer.

"We've got a lot of great talent here," says Fantuz, the COO of the company. "We've also got great universities and colleges around the location. Taxes make it very beneficial to be here, the cost of living is great."

Intellitix provides paperless ticketing and promotions for live events across the world. Using the company's electronic wristbands, event-goers set up an account to pay for their ticket, and any other ammenities while on location.

Fantuz helped recently set up an Intellitix office on Richmond St. in Chatham. It's part of an effort to grow the brand's already long list of clients.

"Boots and Hearts, Wayhome Music Festival, Coachella, Tomorrowland," says Fantuz. "The Hamilton Beer Festival is another one."

Fantuz says the company has more plans to expand. They want to double the number of events they take part in every year, and will also need to double their personnel.

He adds they will are looking for more talent in Chatham, and interested residents can contact them anytime.
