Pedestrians Can't Pass Parry Bridge

The Parry Bridge will be temporarily off-limits to pedestrians starting Thursday.

Chatham-Kent officials say upcoming work on the Keil Dr. bridge will make it unsafe for pedestrians to walk across. Vehicle traffic is also still prohibited on the bridge.

Pedestrians will once again be able to cross the bridge starting at noon on Wednesday, August 31, and two lanes will be open to vehicles as of September 2.

The bridge has been fully closed since June 1 for reconstruction.
