The weather agency says the watch was issued Sunday afternoon around 1pm due to a line of storms that had the potential of heavy rain and strong winds.
The watch briefly turned to a warning, but all severe thunderstorm alerts ended before 4:50pm
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
