Hwy. 40 Crash Victim Dies

Chatham-Kent OPP say a 60-year-old Chatham man who was involved in a head-on crash with an ambulance on Hwy. 40 has died.

Police say Geoffrey Brereton was heading north in a Ford minivan at around 10:30am on August 19 when his vehicle collided with a southbound EMS vehicle.

Brereton was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries, but has since died.

Police are still trying to piece together what happened as their investigation continues.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
