Windsor Man Makes The Final Bachelorette Cut

Described as a born entertainer who lives his dream every day, a Windsor man has made the final five on the first season of Bachelorette Canada.

A release from Wnetwork says David Pinard is among a select group of bachelors vying for the attention of Jasmine, this season's bachelorette.

"To help him stand out among the 19 other Bachelors, 26-year-old David plans to use a combination of his unique sense of humour and easy-going nature," says the release. "He wants the Bachelorette to know he's a pretty simple guy at heart who is looking to experience life to the fullest with the woman of his dreams."

The release says his hometown is Windsor where he works as a musician, performing tricks for the children at the YMCA and hosting his online cooking show.

David is competing against an oil field equipment operator, an international model who's construction career was sidelined by an accident that left him wheelchair-bound, an inventor and a 32-year-old from St. John's Newfoundland who earned the title of Canada's Crush in an online competition.

The show premieres September 13.
