New Fundraiser for Community Living

Community Living Chatham-Kent is hoping to raise some money with a brand new fundraiser.

The inaugural 4-on-4 Road Hockey Tournament will take place Saturday, October 1, 2016.

"It's just gonna be a fun day to come out with friends for a friendly game of hockey," says Nicole Roeszler, supervisor of special events and volunteers. "There's no experience required, but there will be two divisions, so we going to have a competitive and a non-competitive.

"We'll try and keep all the age groups together, and if you say you're competitive, we'll put you with that age group," says Roeszler. "I know there are some young kids that will probably want to participate that will be more on the competitive side, and that's okay. But we also want it to be available to people who might not know hockey that well."

The tournament will take place in the parking lot at St. Clair College, Thames Campus.

The cost is $20 a player, and the deadline to register is Friday. For more details click here.
