Terry Fox Runs A Success

Thousands of people turned out to participate at various Terry Fox Runs across Chatham-Kent on Sunday.

The Dresden run saw 352 particpants and volunteers raised $32,150.

$16,000 was raised at the run in Tilbury. Since 1998, the Tilbury run has raised over $720,000.

In Chatham, the run raised $14,150.43.

Blenheim's Terry Fox Run raised around $37,000.

In Ridgetown, 145 participants and 20 volunteers raised $5,100.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
