Crash Results In Life Threatening Injuries

A 48-year-old woman is fighting for her life in a London hospital after she was involved in a serious crash on Pinehurst Line just east of Chatham.

Police say an officer on general patrol late Tuesday night was flagged down by a man who and was able to direct the officer to the scene of the single-vehicle collision.

Emergency crews arrived there shortly after that and took a 38-year-old Richmond Hill man and a 48-year-old Chatham woman to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for treatment.

Officers say the woman was later transferred to London with life threatening injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
