Investigation Continues Into Fire In Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent police say they are still investigating what sparked a fire at an apartment building in Wallaceburg, but at this point, it's not considered suspicious.

Police released that information after a post mortem was conducted on a body that was found in the apartment on Nelson St.

Officers say the name of the person who died won't be released as per the family's request.

Police say they will continue to work with the Coroner's Office and the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office to complete the investigation, and will release more information as it becomes available.
