UPDATE: Rainfall Warning Ended

It looks like the worst of the rainfall has passed for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

Early Sunday morning, Environment Canada ended the rainfall warning.

Several areas in Windsor-Essex have experienced flooding due to the heavy rainfall. The warning was issued around 9:30pm on Wednesday, and had continued throughout most of the weekend.

Chatham-Kent missed the worst of the storm, while still experiencing a damp few days.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
