Mini Bike And Pickup Truck Collide In Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent OPP are investigating a serious crash on Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg involving a pickup truck and an off road mini bike.

Police say both vehicles were heading in the same direction when they collided at around 6:30am Monday morning.

The driver of the mini bike was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the driver of the pickup truck wasn't hurt.

Dufferin Ave. will remain closed between Arnold Rd. and Walnut Dr. until about 1:30pm Monday afternoon as the investigation continues.

At this point there is no word on charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
