Tecumseh Candidates Forum Set for Monday

Organizers of a candidates forum in Tecumseh will have another chance to host it Monday night.

Candidates for the Ward 2 town council seat will have a chance to present their platforms to voters during a Meet the Candidates night at L'Essor Secondary School.  The forum was originally set for last Thursday but was postponed due to severe weather and flooding in Tecumseh.

Six candidates are vying to finish out the term of Mike Rohrer, the Ward 2 councillor who died suddenly in May.  The candidates are Bill Altenhof, Chris Carpenter, Marian Drouillard, Janet Harris, Scott Shields and Jeremy Soulliere.  The forum will be moderated by Fred Stibbard and provide each candidate with time to take questions from voters and give a presentation.

The forum is open to the public and begins at 7pm.
