Chatham Named "Steakcation" Destination

Four fans of Taco Bell will get the chance to stay overnight at the restaurant chain's Chatham location.

The company's new "Steakcation" contest will see applicants stay at the St. Clair St. restaurant, able to order anything off the menu from their personal butler. Wifi, television and games will also be set up. The entire storefront will be set up to look like an Airbnb room.

The initiative is to advertise the company's new Steak Doubledilla. Taco Bell Canada's Katelyn Zborowski says they chose Chatham to better acknowledge their customers in Southwestern Ontario.

"The Chatham restaurant is one of our recent renovations, beautiful store and it's very popular," says Zborowski. "We actually have a tonne of fans on Facebook and Twitter from Southwestern Ontario. So it just made sense for us."

To qualify for the contest, applicants need to explain why they'd want to stay overnight in a Taco Bell. You can sign up for the contest here.

The contest deadline is October 11.
