Chatham-Kent police responded to the collision on Mariners Rd. Tuesday morning. They say a 49-year-old Ridgetown man lost control of his vehicle and struck a hydro pole.
Damage estimates are coming in at around $8,000. Officers say there were no injuries.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
