Rondeau Welcome Sign Recovered

Rondeau's missing welcome sign is back in the hands of the park's cottagers.

The sign went missing from its spot on Wildwood Line near west of Kent Bridge Rd. back on March 11 2016.

Chatham-Kent police say an anonymous caller tipped off Crime Stoppers about the sign's location.

Officers tracked down the wooden marker at a residence just outside of Wallaceburg Thursday afternoon.

The news was greeted with excitement from some of the cottagers who stay at the Rondeau Provincial Park.
