UPDATE: Hwy. 401 Reopened After Crash In Chatham

Police have reopened eastbound Hwy. 401 in Chatham following a single-vehicle crash.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported the crash near Communication Rd., on Tuesday around 6:20pm.  The circumstances of the crash are unknown at this time.

Police say no one was injured.

The eastbound lanes were fully closed for several hours between Bloomfield Rd. and Communication Rd. while the scene was cleared. The highway was reopened just before 11pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
