Free Recycling Bins Available

Chatham-Kent residents looking for newer and larger recycling bins are in luck.

The municipality and Progressive Waste Solutions have teamed up this week to hand out free recycling boxes and reusable bags as a part of National Waste Reduction Week.

Residents who have curbside pickup are eligible, although there is a limit of two boxes and one reusable bag per residence. Proof of address is required.

Today, the free bins will be handed out at the Harwich Transfer Station on Communication Rd. from noon until 6pm.

Bins will also be handed out at the Wallaceburg Yard on Arnold St. on Thursday, October 20, from noon until 6pm.
