Blue Jays Beat Indians To Force Game 5

The Toronto Blue Jays avoided elimination with a 5-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians in Game 4 of the ALCS on Tuesday.

Josh Donaldson hit a solo home run in the third inning to give the Jays their first lead of the series. Cleveland scored a run in the fourth, but Ezequiel Carrera drove in run for Toronto with a single in the fifth. Edwin Encarnacion had a two-run single in the seventh. Carrera tripled and scored Toronto’s final run in the bottom of the eighth.

Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez held back Cleveland during six strong innings, allowing only a pair of hits and as many walks.

The Indians lead the series 3-1 with Game 5 slated for Wednesday at 4:08pm in Toronto.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
