Pair Charged After Hydro One Break-In

Chatham-Kent police have made arrests after two people were spotted carrying a flashlight and a set of bolt cutters inside a Hydro One compound in Chatham.

Police say they got the call at around 3:30am Tuesday and found one of the suspects hiding in a bush along the fence line on Maple Leaf Dr.

Officers say they were able to identify a second suspect shortly afterwards and arrested her on Queens Line a few hours later.

A 20-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both from Raleigh Township, are now charged with break and enter. The woman police arrested is also charged with breaching her curfew conditions.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
