Police Bust Suspected Pot Dealers

Chatham-Kent police are taking about 50 lbs of marijuana off the streets after executing a search warrant at an apartment on Sandys St. in Chatham.

Police say the drugs have an estimated street value of $340,000.

An 18-year-old Blenheim man, a 26-year-old Chatham man, and a 47-year-old Chatham man were all arrested at the scene and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

They were all released with conditions and a future court date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
