CK Gets Another $200K For Slots

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission has handed out its second-quarter payouts to hosting municipalities, and Chatham-Kent is once again cashing in.

A total of $195,738 in non-tax gaming revenue has been given to Chatham-Kent for the period between July and September 2016. The money stems from Chatham-Kent's hosting of OLG Slots at the Dresden Raceway.

The municipality has received more than $9.8-million from the OLG since April 2001. The OLG hands out approximately $2-billion annually for host municipalities.
