Wallaceburg Parade Seeks To Break Record

Wallaceburg residents who want to cruise through town on their lawn mowers also have the chance to break a world record Saturday.

During this year's Wallaceburg Santa Claus Parade, the Knights of Pythias are once again attempting to break the World Record for most lawn mowers in a parade.

"We've been trying for the last few years," says organizer Kyle Russell. "The record [was set] in Washington D.C. with 866 lawn mowers."

Russell adds the closest they've come in the past was around 200 lawn mowers.

Those interested in participating can gather at Stealth Metal and Recycling by 1pm Saturday. Wallaceburg's Santa Claus Parade gets going at 2pm.
