Chatham Capitol Theatre Hosts Gordon Lightfoot

Canadian music legend Gordon Lightfoot is making a stop in Chatham Wednesday night.

The 77-year-old, who turns 78 on Thursday, will be playing at the Capitol Theatre during his first stop of an eight-show trip through Ontario. The trip is wrapping up a year that included nearly 80 tours dates across North America and Europe.

After tonight, Lightfoot will travel to Kitchener, Belleville, and Ottawa before playing four shows at Toronto's Massey Hall from November 23-26.

Lightfoot has won 15 Juno Awards and has been nominated for five Grammy Awards during his career. He's also a member of both the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.
