Cat Thrown From Moving Truck

Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help to track down someone who threw a cat from a moving vehicle just outside of Dresden.

Police say it happened in the area of McCreary Line and Dawn Valley Line at around 5:30pm Sunday.

A witness stopped to check on the well-being of the cat and took it to a local veterinary clinic because it had suffered serious injuries.

The OSPCA is also involved in the investigation.

Police say the suspect's vehicle is described as a late model single cab Chevrolet Duramax diesel 4x4 pickup truck. It also had LED headlights, aftermarket tail lights, tinted windows and a loud exhaust.

It was last seen heading towards Dresden.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
