UPDATE: Hwy. 401 Reopens After Tractor Trailer Crash

Police have reopened the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 at Queens Line in Tilbury following a single-vehicle collision.

The OPP reported the crash involving a tractor trailer on Wednesday at around 10:30pm. OPP say it took place near Dillon Rd.

Police say the transport truck was going through the construction zone and rolled onto its side. It crashed into the ditch and was partially blocking the left lane of the eastbound highway.

The male driver was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The 30-year-old man from Brampton is now charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
