Free Christmas Dinner Returns

The Community Care Christmas Dinner is back for an 11th year in Chatham.

The free meal will be served on Sunday at the WISH Centre from 4-6 pm.

"If you're feeling a little lonely, a little down, come on out and just sit down at a random table and talk to people and enjoy the Christmas spirit," says organizer Brent Ripley.

"Volunteers cook it, volunteers clean up, the WISH Centre donates the time," says Ripley. "It's just one great big hug from the community. It's just awesome."

Any food leftover from the dinner will be donated to area soup kitchens.
