Pickup Flees From Hit And Run

Chatham-Kent police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that was allegedly involved in a hit and run in Chatham.

Police say someone driving two-door black and gold older model pickup truck caused a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grand Ave. W and Lacroix St. at around 4:30pm Sunday.

Officers say the truck then left the scene heading east on Grand Ave.

There's no word on whether anyone was seriously hurt as a result of the crash, but the damages are estimated at $5,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
