Man Assaulted With Golf Club

A 54-year-old man from Harwich Township is charged with assault after police allege that he hit someone with a golf club.

Chatham-Kent police say the assault took place while two men were having an argument at a residence on Charing Cross Rd.

Officers say one of the men allegedly grabbed a golf club and hit the other man with it several times.

The accused was arrested shortly after police arrived.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
