River Search For Missing Man Continues

Chatham-Kent police say the search continues for a 66-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday.

On Monday, officers say they embarked on "an extensive ground search" and search of the river. They add they've focused their marine search at Prairie Siding Bridge on Jacob Rd., adjacent to the residence.

Police began the search on Sunday, saying the man may have been out looking for his dog and slipped into the river.

Chatham-Kent police say their marine unit will continue searching the Thames River Tuesday. At the request of the family, the missing man's name will not be released.
