Alan Thicke Dead At 69

Canadian-born TV actor Alan Thicke has died of a heart attack at the age of 69.

ABC News reports that his death was confirmed by a publicist on Tuesday.

Thicke was reportedly playing hockey with his 19-year-old son when he suffered the heart attack.

The "Growing Pains" actor skipped Grades 4 and 6 and attend Western University in London at the age of 16.  After graduating in 1967,  Thicke started his career working for Lorne Michaels at the CBC.

Thicke is survived by his wife Tanya Callau and three sons: Brennan, Robin and Carter.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
