Thieves Target Catalytic Converters

Chatham-Kent police are trying to track down 100 catalytic converters that were stolen from a metal recycling business in Wallaceburg.

Police say it happened sometime overnight on December 11 on Mason St.

Investigators say the converters were dragged across an open area on the business' property and loaded into a vehicle that was waiting nearby.

The converters have a combined value of approximately $8,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
