Winning A Car For Christmas

Chatham-Kent's Jeff McKay is in rare company.

He's walking away with the keys to a brand new vehicle after winning one of the top prizes in GM's nation-wide Click & Win Contest.

Only 17 vehicles are being given away in Canada during the contest and only three of those are set aside for Ontario.

McKay won the prize Thursday morning while he was getting his truck appraised at Heuvelmans Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd. on Grand Ave. W.

"I thought the sales associate, Larry, was pulling my chain," says McKay. "He confirmed it and everybody was congratulating me -- it's a surreal moment right now."

McKay says he has a pickup truck right now, but he's going to need some time to think about what he wants to drive away with from the dealership.

Heuvelman's Sales Consultant Larry DeFraeye says it's an exciting day for the dealership too, adding they've never had someone win a vehicle there before.
