Dresden Kings Help The United Way

The United Way of Chatham-Kent is getting some help from the Dresden Jr. Kings.

Team President Dave Cameron says the Junior C hockey club is donating $1 from every ticket sold for Friday night's game against Mooretown to the local United Way.

"The event has been going on for several years and it's a nice way to give back to the community," says Cameron, adding it teaches his players life lessons. "You're learning to become a young man and be part of the community and this shows them how to participate in something that's happening in the community."

The puck drops at 7:30pm in Dresden.
