Police Woman Arrest Woman On Outstanding Warrant

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has arrested a 38-year-old Ridgetown woman for an outstanding warrant.

Sunday night around 6pm, an officer on general patrol observed a woman known to him walking in the area of King St. E and Princess St. in Chatham.

The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for robbery, uttering threats and three counts of assault.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
